My story “Harmonized” came in 2nd among my group for the NYC Midnight writing competition. The top 10 go on to the next round, so I’ll have a new 500 word story to write for Round 2 on Friday! Congrats to the other 9 writers moving on and to the 5 honourable mentions.
I had to write a romance story, it had to include sitting on a bench, and it had to include a chisel. Here is the synopsis – “A planet’s song brings a pair of robots together just as one of them triggers an apocalyptic chain of events”.
