My motherhood horror story “Check” has been given an honourable mention, breaking into the top 5 of a contest with Flash Fiction Magazine. This story is unsettling, and inspired by what I’ve seen my partner endure as a new mother. Motherhood is harrowing, and I hope this story honours that fact.
